CHICAGO — A 92-year-old man has died after being found unresponsive in a Gold Coast swimming pool Sunday, authorities said

The man was found unresponsive around 12:39 p.m. in the pool of the building at 130 E. Oak St. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was identified as Bernard Hornung, of the same building. He was pronounced dead at 1:24 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
