LINCOLN PARK — Brown Line trains are being rerouted this weekend due to construction on the Ravenswood Connector.

Riders between the Armitage stop and Loop will be rerouted to the Red Line subway 8 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

Free shuttle buses will operate between Fullerton and Clark/Lake, stopping near stations affected by the reroute. A shuttle train will also go through the Loop for connections to Brown Line service and the free shuttle buses.

The Brown Line will operate as usual between the Kimball and Fullerton.

The Purple Line Express, a pilot program, will also face reroutes due to construction. The train that leaves Linden at 8 p.m. Friday will be rerouted from the elevated tracks to the Red Line subway. It will go to each station between North/Clybourn and Roosevelt.
