Beverly Crochet Club Meets At Chicago Public Library

BEVERLY — The Beverly Crochet Club will meet this month at the Chicago Public Library's branch at 1962 W. 95th St.

The club welcomes both beginners and experienced crochet enthusiasts ages 14 through adult. The group will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. on Friday and on June 12 and 26 at the Beverly library.

Participants are asked to bring their own size H, I or J crochet hook and light color red heart yarn. The free class will be taught by local fashion designer Karen Scruggs.

Scruggs will cover basic crochet stitches, pattern reading and easy projects for beginners. Club members are encouraged to bring any current projects.
