Robbers Targeting Delivery Drivers in Austin, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police are warning business after a series of robberies targeting delivery drivers in Austin.

In each incident, the armed robbers take money, food and cell phones from the drivers, police said in a statement.

The most recent robbery occurred on May 19 at 2:12 a.m. in the 700 block of North Latrobe Avenue. The other incidents occurred on May 14 at 9:25 a.m  in the 4900 block of West Rice Street, and May 6 at 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Leamington Avenue, police said.
