CHICAGO — Police are warning McKinley Park residents about two robberies that have occurred in the neighborhood in May.

During the incidents, one or two men walked up to victims and robbed them.

One incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. May 6 in the 3500 block of South Ashland Avenue and a second incident occurred around 8 p.m. on May 20 in the 2200 block of West 33rd Street, police said.

The robbers were black. about 6 feet tall, weighing 155 pounds and roughly 16-22 years old, police said.
