CHICAGO — A man was found in Albany Park late Saturday night after being shot in the face, according to Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was later identified as Daniel Rivera, 27, of the 7200 block of North Damen Ave, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Rivera was found unresponsive by police in an alleyway around 11:45 p.m. in the 4700 block of North Albany Street with a gunshot wound to his face, Cooper said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one is currently in custody for the shooting.
