Around 12:15 a.m., the two men, 20 and 22, were inside a second floor apartment in the 900 block of North Monticello Avenue when another man opened fire, striking both men, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

A 20 year-old man was shot in his neck and left arm, and a 21-year-old man was shot in his back and chest. Both men were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and listed in critical condition, Estrada said.
