HUMBOLDT PARK —  To get the summer party started, Sportsman's Club is bringing back a popular weekly backyard BBQ series featuring guest chefs along with boozy snow cones, rosé on draft and more.

Sunday's inaugural installment kicks off at 4 p.m. with Chef John Manion of La Sirena Clandestina and upcoming El Che bar.

Manion will be serving up a plate of asado and a Leblon passion fruit caipirinha snow cone.

The entire chef roster, which includes Chef Mark Hellyar of Momotaro and Brian Ahern of the neighboring Boeufhaus, Rachel Dow of The Betty, and more, can be viewed here.

New additions to the Sportsman's Club cocktail menu this summer include a pair of sporting snow cones ($5 each) and the bar's first-ever collaboration beer with Off Color Brewing, the Grizzly King Tiki-Weiss, a grapefruit, passion fruit and cinnamon berliner weisse ($6).

"The Sporting Julep Cone," made with bourbon, Branca Menta, Letherbee Besk and mint, will be available daily. As with the regular cocktail menu, a second snow cone drink will rotate based on the the availability of seasonal ingredients and the whim of the bar staff.

Tickets for the event will cost $20 for a plate of BBQ and a beer.  Sportsman's Club is at 948 N. Western Ave. The BBQ will take place until supplies run out.
