ROGERS PARK — Shots were fired near Loyola University's Lake Shore campus early Thursday, prompting a campus crime alert to be sent out.

The shots were fired about 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Avenue and Columbia Drive. No one was reported injured, but police found two loaded semi-automatic handguns after searching the area, according to the university.
