LINCOLN SQUARE — Bacon sausage. On sale.

Need we say more about Big Fork Brand's pop-up store, 4-6 p.m. Wednesday?

Big Fork — which makes its bacon-infused sausages out of a Lawrence Avenue storefront dubbed The Space that it shares with Moberg Art Gallery — is throwing open the doors to its operation and offering customers a rare opportunity to buy their encased meats straight from the source.

Begyle Brewing and Bru Coffeeworks will join the party, pairing samples of beer and coffee with tastings of Big Fork's sausages.

Pick up Big Fork merchandise at 25 percent off, 50 percent off packs of new Big Fork flavors like chicken and portabella, and half off two-pound packs.

Though Big Fork's distribution has expanded into the big time — Super Target stores across Illinois are the newest retail outlets to carry the brand's sausages — the company has retained its local identity.

If you want to buy the brand's bacon sausage in the raw the only place to get it is Lincoln Quality Meat Market.

Look for the pop-up at The Space, 2707 W. Lawrence Ave.
