CHICAGO — A 62-year-old woman died Saturday evening from injuries suffered in a house fire earlier that day.
Gabrielle Donovan, of the 3500 block of North Milwaukee Avenue in Avondale, was pronounced dead at Loyola Hospital at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
An autopsy Monday revealed she died of smoke inhalation and burns during the 2 a.m. house fire. Her death was ruled an accident, according to the morgue.
