HYDE PARK — The Renaissance Society is opening its annual book sale on Thursday, offering half off art books and monographs.

The sale at the gallery at 5811 S. Ellis Ave. on the University of Chicago campus will run from 10 a.m. Thursday to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

The sale will be in the basement of Cobb Hall in Cobb Cafe and offer discounts on books by William Pope.L, Nora Schultz, Katharina Grosse, Kerry James Marshall, Raymond Pettibon and other artists.
