GRAND CROSSING — Community members interested in volunteering can attend Tuesday's orientation at the Gary Comer Youth Center.
The orientation is for people who desire to work with youths. It will run from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the center, 7200 S. Ingleside Ave.
Staff will go over the process of becoming a registered volunteer, which includes filling out the application, agreeing to a background check and attending orientation. Walk-ins are welcome.
