CHICAGO — Police are warning West Side residents to take extra precaution after two similar robberies last month.
Two separate times on April 27, a group of three men approached a victim and said they had a gun before robbing them, police said.
The first incident happened around 7:51 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Jackson Boulevard in Austin. The second incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 600 block of South Homan Avenue in Garfield Park, police said.
Each of the men was around 28 years old. Two of them were about 5-foot-7, police said.
