Man Wounded in Humboldt Park Shooting, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 50-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Sunday morning in Humboldt Park, police said.

At 8:45 a.m., the man was in the 4200 block of West Division Street when he was approached by a gunman who opened fire, striking the man in his right leg, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, Sedevic said.
