GRAND CROSSING — Obesity and sexually transmitted diseases and infections are just a couple of health issues that will be addressed at the "The Youth Summit: Empowering Youth to Live Healthy" on May 13.
The free summit is sponsored by the University of Chicago Medicine and the Urban Health Initiative. The event will be held at the Gary Comer Youth Center, 7200 S. Ingleside Ave., from 6-8 p.m. South Side comedian and spoken word artist Lawrence ''Binky'' Tolefree will be the host for the evening.
