CHICAGO — The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for help finding the getaway driver in a shooting at Avondale Park that wounded two girls back in 2011.

The FBI has been searching for Dionsio Gonzalez since June 24, 2011, when he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, according to Robert Holly, the the Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI in Chicago.

On June 8, 2011, a 2-year-old girl and 7-year-old girl were playing at the park at 3516 W. School St. when shots were fired at a rival gang. The 2-year-old girl was grazed in the back of the head and the 7-year-old girl was shot in the back, the FBI said.

The shooter was caught afterward but Gonzalez was never apprehended. He was charged with aggravated battery with a handgun on June 14, but hasn't been seen in Chicago since the shooting, the FBI said.

Gonzalez is a 35-year-old Hispanic man who weighs between 135-160 pounds. He stands about 5-foot-8-inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He also is known to have a mustache or goatee, the FBI said.

He also has four distinct tattoos: "Death before Dishonor" on his chest, "Maniac" on his left arm, "Lil Dio" on his left forearm and "Logan" with guns on his back, the FBI said.
