CHICAGO — Motorists should expect delays on the I-94 inbound and westbound ramp during road repairs over the weekend, the Illinois Department of Transportation said in a statement.

Starting Friday at 10 p.m., the inbound/westbound ramp to interstate 94 from 103rd Street will be closed for repairs, IDOT said.

A detour will direct traffic traveling on 103rd street outbound/eastbound on I-94 to exit at 115th street and return north and inbound/westbound I-94.

Motorists should allow for extra time for trips and should pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zone.

The project will be completed Monday by 5 a.m.
