CHICAGO — A man who was struck and killed in Uptown Tuesday has been identified, officials said.
On Tuesday around 12:55 p.m., a 56-year-old man ran into traffic in the 4600 block of North Broadway and was struck by a vehicle, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Jesus Valdez, of the 800 block of West Montrose Avenue, died at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The driver of the vehicle was not cited by police.
