Fire Displaces 25 People in Pilsen Early Sunday

PILSEN — Dozens of people were displaced from their homes after a fire broke out in a three-story building in Pilsen early Sunday.

Firefighters were called at 1:40 a.m. to a three-story residential building at 1902 W. 21st St., fire officials confirmed. The extra-alarm fire spread to a second apartment building, forcing a total of 25 people from their homes.

One firefighter was brought to the hospital with minor injuries in the incident, but was treated and released.
