ROSCOE VILLAGE — Your weekend traffic forecast: Steer clear of the Western-Addison intersection, which will be closed to all vehicles due to ongoing water main replacement work.
The closure will go into effect after 7 p.m. on Friday and wrap up by 7 p.m. Sunday.
Traffic on Western Avenue will be rerouted to Ashland Avenue, with the northbound detour in place at Diversey Avenue and the southbound detour at Irving Park Road.
Traffic on Addison Street will be rerouted to Irving Park Road, with the eastbound detour at California Avenue and the westbound detour at Ashland Avenue.
Pedestrian crossing will still be permitted during construction.
