CHICAGO — Election Day is over, but it will live on forever in our hearts. Ok, not really. But here are some of our favorite shots from the night.

Our reporter Ben Woodard captured these images of newly re-elected Mayor Rahm Emanuel looking angry, but likely feeling anything but.

Logan Square reporter Darryl Holliday captured a Chuy Garcia supporter looking worried at his Election Night event.

Though she did not declare victory Tuesday -- and her ward is still too close to call -- Ald. Michele Smith thanked supporters at the Red Lion Pub Tuesday night. Photo by Lincoln Park reporter Paul Biasco.

Ald. Howard Brookins (21st) declared victory Tuesday night, but his challenger, Marvin McNeil, said he planned to challenge the results Wednesday morning. Photo by Jamie Nesbitt Golden.

Challenger Derrick Curtis defeated incumbent Ald. Lona Lane to win the 18th Ward election Tuesday in what supporters are calling a "blowout" victory. Photo by Linze Rice.
