ROGERS PARK — Do you want an artist live-work development in the neighborhood?

Artspace, an organization that has built 33 artist-centric developments across the country, wants to know as it prepares to launch a survey Wednesday to gauge the interest of the artist community.

Officials said last year the neighborhood was "ripe" for the development. An exact location for the development, which has not yet been funded and is only in exploratory stages, has not been determined. But other Artspace locations typically feature ground-floor businesses below housing.

A survey launch party will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Glenwood Ave. Wine and cheese will be served.

The online survey will be available for eight weeks.
