DUNNING — Participants in Chicago Park District woodcraft classes will test their creations during the annual Downhill Derby set for April 17 at Merrimac Park.
The race between students in classes at Merrimac, Loyola, Horner, Brands and Portage parks will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m., organizers said.
The students, 14 and younger, created model cars to race down the track at Merrimac Park, 6343 W. Irving Park Road.
