WEST LOOP — West Loop families are invited to enjoy a massive Easter egg hunt at Skinner Park Saturday.

The 12th annual Skinner Park Eggstravaganza will kick off at the 10 a.m. Saturday at the park, 1331 W. Monroe St.

Kids will have the chance to collect more than 10,000 plastic eggs hidden in the park that will be filled with candy and prizes. The fun also includes games, inflatables and the chance to snap a photo with the Easter bunny.

An egg hunt for children 5 and under will start at 10:30 a.m.; for children 6 and up at 11 a.m.; and a third egg hunt for all children will start at 11:30 a.m.

Organizers ask families to bring their own baskets to collect eggs.

If it rains Saturday, the egg hunt will be held in the Whitney Young gym, 210 S. Loomis St.

The free event is co-sponsored by the Skinner Park Advisory Council.
