CHATHAM — Small business owners who want to keep their financial records organized are encouraged to register for an April 9 introductory course on using Quickbooks.

The Chatham Business Association will hold the class at its Tech Center, 800 E. 78th St., from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The workshop fee is $150 and must be paid in advance. RSVP by emailing Samia Malik at SamiaMalik@cbaworks.org. Class size is limited to eight. Payments can be made online at www.cbatechworks.org/workshops.html.

Participants are encouraged to bring with them the following:

  • Company information (FEIN or SSNs)
  • Bank account balances
  • Customer balances
  • Vendor balances
  • Chart of accounts
  • Sale taxes due
  • Inventory items, quantities, values
  • Income tax form used
