Two Found Stabbed to Death in Logan Square Home Identified

CHICAGO — The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man and woman who were both found stabbed to death in a Logan Square residence Tuesday afternoon.

At 12:08 p.m., authorities were called to the 2800 block of North Maplewood Avenue and found Susan Mangino-Watson, 52, and Gerald Watson, 49, dead inside their home, police said.

Both were pronounced dead at 12:19 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The incident is believed to be domestic-related and may have been a murder-suicide, police said.
