LINCOLN SQUARE — Former Chicago ad man Joshua Ferris returns to his Windy City roots Thursday, hanging out at the Book Cellar to talk about his latest award-winning novel.
Ferris first rose to literary fame with his 2007 debut, "And Then We Came to the End," which was set in a fictional Chicago ad agency.
His third book, "To Rise Again at a Decent Hour," won the 2014 Dylan Thomas Prize, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and was a National Book Award finalist.
His appearance at the Book Cellar, including a Q&A, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, 4736-38 N. Lincoln Ave.
