ROGERS PARK — The fourth annual St. Baldrick's day event in Jarvis Square is planned for noon-6 p.m. March 22, organizers announced.

Last year 36 people shaved their heads and raised $38,777, said Sandra Carter, one of the event's organizers.

A "big tent" will be set up in the street and people will shave their heads in support of childhood cancer research, Carter said.

Donors have already pledged $20,000 for this year's event. The Sullivan High School Rock Band will also perform.
