Police Issue Alert After Garage Burglaries in Ravenswood, Roscoe Village

CHICAGO — Police are warning residents to be alert after three burglaries in Ravenswood and Roscoe Village.

In each incident, the burglars entered garages through unlocked doors and stole bicycles and a vehicle, police said in a statement.

The most recent burglary occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of West Giddings Street. The other robberies occurred sometime between 5 p.m. March 6 and 2 p.m. March 7 in the 3200 block of North Damen Avenue, and at 2:55 a.m. March 4 in the 1700 block of West Wilson Avenue.

The burglars were described as two white men between 20 and 25 years old.
