THE LOOP — A Loop resident is hoping her offer of a monthlong luxury car rental will be enough to drive the sale of her condominium.
The three-bedroom unit at 20 N. State St. was listed Monday for $500,000, according to multiple listing service Midwest Real Estate Data.
Part of a 2003 Downtown loft conversion, the condo has been renovated with a new kitchen, hardwood floors, and in-unit washer and dryer, according to a listing. Condo dues run $811 per month.

Yet the real draw is this: a monthlong rental of a luxury car of the buyer's choosing is included in the price. Available rides mentioned in the listing include Bentleys, Lamborghinis and Ferraris. A buyer would also receive a valet parking space with the condo. Here's the living room:
Saul Zenkevicius of Elmhurst-based Goodwill Realty Group, who is handling the sale, said a buyer would be able to drive one of the cars for "a week at a time" in a fashion similar to a timeshare. Valet parking is prepaid for a year. Cook County property records show Shanelle Kim Schmidt paid $250,000 last year for the condo. Schmidt could not be reached for comment.
