LINCOLN SQUARE — George Grant is like the Prince William of whiskey, the sixth-generation heir to Glenfarclas, one of the few remaining family-owned distilleries in Scotland.

Grant has crossed the pond for a meet and greet at Fountainhead Tuesday night, and he's brought bottles of the rare Ferd in the Spey 2000 vintage with him.

Twenty bottles of the five-star whiskey will be available for presale, signed by Grant, for $69 each.

Fountainhead has more than 20 Glenfarclas whiskeys on hand, and will offer half-ounce pours of any Glenfarclas more than 20 years old.

The free event kicks off at 7 p.m. at 1970 W. Montrose Ave.
