CHICAGO — Police are warning West Side residents to be on the lookout for suspicious people loitering around their neighborhood after a rash of residential burglaries in February.

During the seven burglaries, the thief or thieves entered through windows or doors and took electronics, jewelry, cash and other items. The burglaries occurred mostly during the day and early evening, police said.

Here's a list of the incidents:

• Around 8 a.m. Feb. 6 in the 2400 block of North Marmora Avenue.

• Between 3:30 - 4:40 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 2100 block of North Latrobe Avenue.

• Between 4-6 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 3000 block of North Mango Avenue.

• Between 3:30-6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 2600 block of North Parkside Avenue.
