JEFFERSON PARK — The Chicago Citywide Orchestra will perform from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave.

The all-volunteer, 68-year-old orchestra was honored in December by the Chicago City Council. Led by Conductor and Music Director Chung Yoon Park, the orchestra performs four times a year on the second-floor auditorium of the Jefferson Park Field House.

The orchestra is made up of students and amateur, semi-professional and retired musicians of all ages from Chicago and the surrounding metropolitan area, organizers said. Interested musicians, with their own instruments, are invited to join the orchestra.

The orchestra's Spring Concert is scheduled for June 7.
