LINCOLN SQUARE — While Americans were flocking to "Guardians of the Galaxy" in 2014, Germans were making "Fack ju Gohte" that country's highest grossing film of all time.

See what all the fuss is about at a free screening of the movie, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday at DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave.

A quick plot summary: Ex-con Zeki gets out of prison and goes looking for the stolen money he had a friend bury for him. A school gymnasium has since been built over the loot, forcing Zeki, who can barely spell, to take a job as a teacher at the school. Hi-jinks and romance ensue.

So, kinda like "School of Rock," minus the music, Jack Black and English.

The movie will be shown in German with English subtitles.
