LAKEVIEW — Hollywood's finest aren't the only ones who will win big Sunday night. Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club is offering prizes to customers who predict the most Academy Award winners.
The lounge, located at 3700 N. Halsted St., will offer prizes to three customers during its Oscar party, which kicks off at 6 p.m. Ballots will be handed out before the show, and the attendee who correctly predicts the most winners will receive $100. Second place wins dinner for two, and third place will receive a spirits and liqueur gift bag.
Specials include half-priced martinis for $7, including The Red Carpet (Pinnacle Whipped Vodka, crème de cacao, splash of cream and grenadine with a chocolate dusted rim) and The Meryl Streep (Effen Vodka, Pama liqueur and champagne).
ROCKS Lakeview, 3463 N. Broadway St., is also hosting an Oscars party, geared toward "Chicagoans who care more about Neil Patrick Harris' jokes than who's wearing what on the red carpet."
The casual event will include Oscars-themed drinks and popcorn. Trivia will be played during commercial breaks. Half-priced appetizers will be offered after 10 p.m.
The 87th Academy Awards will air on ABC at 6 p.m.
