Police Warn of West Town Burglaries

CHICAGO — Police are warning residents near West Town about residential burglaries in the area earlier this month.

During the burglaries, which occurred between Feb. 5-9, the thieves used tools to pry into the homes, police said.

The incidents occurred around:

8:45 a.m. on Feb. 5, in the 700 block of N. Leavitt St.

• 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, in the 1400 block of W. Chicago Ave.

• 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 6, in the 800 block of N. Hermitage Ave.

• 11:00 a.m. on Feb 9, in the 1800 block of W. Superior Ave.
