'The Residents of Irving Park' Take Over Templestowe Pub Friday

IRVING PARK — With approximately 100 weeks of winter left — that's how it feels, anyway — The Residents of Irving Park community group is combating cabin fever with an indoor block party of sorts.

TRIP is taking over Templestowe Pub, 3135 W. Montrose Ave., at 7 p.m. on Friday. All are invited to join their neighbors for an evening of free food, drink specials and something to do besides sitting on the couch binging on Netflix.

Brisku's Bistro, Tano's Pizzeria and the coming-soon HQ restaurant are providing appetizers.
