HYDE PARK — It’s time to dig out your car if it’s parked on Drexel Boulevard.

Wentworth District officers gave residents a reprieve from tickets after the Feb. 1 blizzard  dumped 19 inches of snow on the city.

Residents who parked partially in the inner traffic lane got a brief respite from tickets while city crews cleared snow. But police said Monday the grace period is over.

Cars parked in the inner lane will now be ticketed or towed.

Drexel is not a street where winter overnight parking bans or two-inch snow route restrictions are imposed.
