UPTOWN — Looking for boozy Valentine's Day fun?

The Uptown watering hole at 4840 N. Broadway Ave. is inviting couples and singles alike to a night of drinking aged ciders and beers because, as the bar put, "there's nothing more romantic than bourbon and beer."

Expect to see the following beers and ciders on the tasting menu: Crispin Steel Town, Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale, Dogfish Head Burton Baton, New Holland Dragon's Milk and North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve.

Fair warning: Some of the aged beers are rather potent. For example, North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve boasts 14.1 percent alcohol by volume.

The tasting will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday

There are a limited amount of tickets available. They cost $25 plus tax and tip.
