ANDERSONVILLE — Discounts are being offered to shoppers who support Andersonville's local businesses this weekend.

For the second year in a row, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce is hosting Andersonville Loves Local to help boost local sales during dreary, cold months. Shoppers are invited to come out Feb. 7 and Feb. 8.

All kinds of local merchants are participating, including retail shops like Presence and Milk Handmade, restaurants like City Olive and confectionery shops like Terry's Toffee

Each merchant is offering a different discount. For a full list, check out the event's website. Plus, there will also be free entertainment, according to a press release.

For even more savings, consider signing up for Andersonville's "LoLo" rewards program. To join, create an account and connect it with an existing debit or credit card. The program tracks spending at local businesses, which can earn shoppers 5 percent off.

During this weekend's promotion, shoppers can earn up to 10 percent off if they are signed up for the rewards program.
