Author Charles Baxter To Visit Seminary Co-op Bookstore for Reading

HYDE PARK — Author Charles Baxter will visit the Seminary Cooperative Bookstore Feb. 11 to read from his new collection of short stories.

Baxter, a National Book Award finalist for his “The Feast of Love” novel, will read from his new collection “There’s Something I Want to Do” at 6 p.m. at the bookstore, 5751 S. Woodlawn Ave.

The stories “Bravery” and “Charity” in the new collection were also included in the “Best American Short Stories” anthology.

Baxter lives in Minneapolis and teaches creative writing at the University of Minnesota.
