Man Killed in West Englewood Shooting Friday Identified

CHICAGO — A 34-year-old man was fatally shot Friday in West Englewood.

Around 5:30 p.m., the man was walking in the 7000 block of South Honore Street when he was shot multiple times, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman

The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Lemmon said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Leandrew Harper, 34, of the 7000 block of South Honore Street.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
