Near West Side 1224, 1231 CAPS meeting Wednesday

NEAR WEST SIDE — Residents living in the Near West District's 1224 and 1231 police beat boundaries are encouraged to attend a local CAPS meeting Wednesday night.

The meeting, at the Chicago Police Academy, 1300 W. Jackson St., will kick off at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents will have the opportunity to talk with police officers about suspicious activity and discuss any ongoing neighborhood issues.

The 1224 beat CAPS meetings were previously held at American Charter Bank on Randolph Street.
