CHICAGO — Two people were shot in Back of the Yards Saturday afternoon, police said.
The two men, ages 22 and 53, were shot in the 5000 block of South Throop Avenue about 1:45 p.m. when someone inside a dark-colored Jeep fired shots at them.
The 22-year-old man was shot in the right leg. The 53-year-old man was shot in the left thigh, police said.
The were both taken to Stroger Hospital. Police did not know their conditions, but said they had stabilized.
The younger man is a documented gang member, police said.
