CHICAGO — Fans of modern luxury and vintage details, take notice.

A renovated five-bedroom home complete with built-in bookshelves and a library ladder in its kitchen is on the market in Lincoln Park for $2.39 million.

In addition to a library ladder, the new kitchen at 1954 N. Dayton St. has ample storage and honed granite countertops, according to @properties' Emily Sachs Wong.

The great room overlooks the home's landscaped yard. In the living room, there is a fireplace with a reclaimed mantle. And the dining room doubles as a library with its tall, built-in bookshelves.

On the second level, there are three bedrooms, including an en suite bedroom. There is also an additional bathroom.

The master bedroom is on the top floor. It comes with its own bathroom decked out in Calacatta marble with amenities including a steam shower, dual sinks and a vanity.

In the basement, there is a recreation room, wet bar, wine cellar, an additional bedroom and an exercise room, according to Sachs Wong.

Overall, the home is "perfectly renovated with a fabulous vibe," Sachs Wong said.

The neighborhood schools are Mayer Elementary School and Lincoln Park High School.
