CHICAGO — Poutine lovers, finish your beer and grab your forks: Poutine Fest is upon us.

Tickets go on sale Friday for the annual late-night fast food fest celebrating the Canadian delicacy. Tickets can be bought here.

The third Poutine Fest, organizers said, will take place Feb. 15 at Haymarket Pub & Brewery, 773 W. Randolph St., and will feature craft beers along with Poutine, which is essentially french fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy.

Several Chicago restaurants will offer their take on the concoction from Quebec in a fierce day-long battle to crown Chicago's "King of Poutine." Restaurants participating in the festival include Haymarket Pub & Brewery, the Rocking Horse, Bite Cafe, the Bad Apple, the Brixton and La Sirena Clandestina.

VIP tickets for the fest allow you early entry to the early session, which is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. VIP tickets include an extra drink ticket and 10 poutine tickets for $70.

General Admission tickets allows access to either the early session or late session, which is from 2-4 p.m. Tickets include drink tickets and 10 poutine tickets for $60.

The festival is for those 21 and older.

Profits from ticket sales will be donated to UN86'd, whose mission is to give monetary relief for restaurant professionals in need.
