CHICAGO — Shootings on the South and West sides have killed two people and wounded six others since Friday night, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was found unresponsive on the sidewalk when police arrived at the scene in Gage Park Friday night. Police said the fatal shooting may be gang related.

A man was fatally shot in Lawndale Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday morning, two teenagers and one man were wounded after being shot early Saturday morning in Garfield Park, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokesman.

At 3:40 a.m., the three were in a vehicle traveling east in the 4500 block of West Lake Street when a dark-colored sedan with three occupants pulled up, alongside the vehicle, and someone inside opened fire, Estrada said.

A 16-year-old boy was shot in his buttocks, and 17-year-old girl was shot in her right leg. The third victim, a 20-year-old man was shot in his lower back, Estrada said.

The three arrived at West Suburban Medical Center, where their conditions had stabilized, Estrada said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.

• In Fuller Park at 2:50 a.m., a 20-year-old man was walking in an alley, in the 4800 block of South Princeton Avenue, when he heard shots and felt pain, Estrada said.

He was shot in his left foot and drove himself to Provident Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Estrada said.

• In Englewood at 9:35 p.m. Friday, a 19-year-old man was found on the sidewalk in the 6400 block of South Peoria Street with a gunshot wound to his chest. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody, and Area South detectives are investigating.

• In the first shooting of the night, a 20-year-old man was wounded after being shot in East Garfield Park about 7:20 p.m. Police said someone drove up to the man, who was walking in the 500 block of North Drake Street, and fired shots.
