IRVING PARK — Bread & Wine is marking its third anniversary with a gift for its customers — a newly concocted cocktail.

Dubbed "Third Thyme's the Charm," the drink was created by the restaurant's bar manager Aric Goldfreed and is available for $3 through Jan. 23.

Ingredients include Cocchi Americano (it's a wine, natch), thyme, ginger liqueur and bitters. Despite the jokey name, this drink should not be taken lightly — it also boasts a kick of fresno chili.

Co-owners Lisa Fosler Kelly and Jennifer Wisniewski opened Bread & Wine in 2012 at 3732 W. Irving Park Road, serving "elevated Midwest cuisine" in the former Washing Well laundromat.

Bread & Wine is also taking part in Chicago Restaurant Week, Jan. 30 - Feb. 12. Check out the menu here — three courses for $33, not including tax, tip and beverages.
