ROSCOE VILLAGE — Si Fu Chinese Latin Kitchen has revamped its menu for the new year and is hosting a free tasting party Wednesday to introduce its latest offerings.

Diners can graze their way through items like Asian tuna tartare, beer-battered avocado, Mongolian beef burritos and nopale tacos, which feature prickly pear cactus.

The biggest change at Si Fu is the addition of full bar service — no more BYOB.

During the tasting, which runs 5-7 p.m., margaritas and sangria, which normally will cost $5.88-$7.88, will be specially priced at $3.88. (The 8s on the menu are a symbol of good luck.)

Si Fu, 2116 W. Roscoe St., opened in June with the goal of combining two popular cuisines in a single location.
